Thank you for your interest in Montessori Academy of Naples.   Employment offers are made based on enrollment.  Candidates should have a love and respect for children, a positive attitude, and a cooperative work spirit.  Below are some basic requirements we look for in employment candidates at Montessori Academy of Naples, Inc.   We look forward to reviewing your application.


Candidates should, at a minimum:

  • have or be in the process of obtaining their Child Development Associate (CDA);
  • have or apply for and maintain State certification and comply with all Federal,  State and local requirements with regards to screening, records, training, and  continuing education;
  • have current First Aid and CPR certification;
  • have previous experience working with children;
  • have references.

Additionally, all lead teacher candidates should:

  • have a Montessori Degree or Diploma from either the Association Montessori  Internationale (AMI) or the American Montessori Society (AMS);
  • have previous teaching experience.

At the Elementary level, lead teacher candidates should:

  • have a Master’s Degree in the field of education;
  • have or apply for and maintain teaching certification through the State of Florida;
  • have a Montessori Degree or Diploma through AMI or AMS or have extensive  Montessori classroom experience;
  • have previous teaching experience;
  • have references.

Salary is competitive based on background and experience.
